Grove Rotarians Jim Reynolds, left, and Sam Grasso team up to prepare Lendonwood Gardens’ fence-top for staining. Reynolds, Lendonwood vice president, organized a series of mini-workdays to tackle specific jobs aimed at getting the garden ready for the winter season. This year, due to lingering pandemic concerns, the garden substituted small-group tasks for the usual large “Put the Garden to Bed” fall workday. Reynolds said he expects to return to a full-fledged workday next spring.
